Almost 3 Years On

I’m almost at the 3 year mark from when active treatment ended with the last radiotherapy session.  I’m so grateful to have been given the last 3 years and obviously hoping for many more. In the last 3 years we’ve sold our family home and moved to our place in the country.  A beautiful spot to live.  Due to form we’ve made major changes to make it our own and still have more to do. We got chickens not long after moving in and once we had built some stables I finally have a large Irish cob called Woody. We’ve been to Houston, Botswana, New York, Boston and Cape Cod.  Our next big adventure is Costa Rica next year. So far I cope with my ongoing hormone blocker letrozole, but am hoping I’m finally in menopause so I can stop the Zoledronic acid implant every 3 months as it’s quite painful. It’s been hard with some friends who have distanced themselves from me since I had cancer, but others have remained strong and I’ve made some new friends.
